Wine & Gourmet Food Tasting

On Sunday, September 20th, the LCFEF Endowment Fund will again be joining forces with the Kiwanis
Club of La Canada, the La Canada Chamber of Commerce and the Verdugo Hills Hospital Foundation
to put on the 7th Annual La Canada Flintridge Wine and Gourment Food Tasting in Memorial Park.
The gate opens at 2 p.m. and guests will be treated to a delightful day of fine wine tasting and sampling
of fantastic food from local restaurants.

End your day with a stop at LCFEF's wine auction tent. Starting at 5 p.m. we will be auctioning off a
number of fantastic wine packages including a 2005 Reisling Sampler, some fantastic Bordeaux offerings, and a trip to the Santa Ynez wine country, complete with a tour of Sea Smoke Cellars.

Major Donor Reception

On Thursday, October 8, the Foundation will host its annual Major Donor Reception to recognize our most
generous givers and announce the Spirit of Outstanding Service Award recipient. This year's event will
be held at the home of Michael and Mary Greenberg.

Golf Tournament

Thank you to all the golfers who came out for our 10th Annual Classroom Classic held Wednesday , October 28th 2009, at Angeles National Golf Club. Stay tuned for the announcement of next year's date.

Jog-A-Thon

The annual jog-a-thon is a great way for the whole family to become involved in raising money for our public schools! Children running in the jog-a-thon are sponsored based on the number of laps they run, or with a flat contribution by parents, grandparents, and other family and friends!

Students in grades K - 6 will participate in the Elementary School Jog-a-thon on Friday November 13. Students in grades 7 & 8 will participate in the Junior High Jog-a-thon on Friday January 15.

Gala

Come join the fun at the 19th Annual Spring Gala on Saturday, March 13th, 2010 at the Pasadena Convention Center. The #1 fundraiser for LCFEF is a lively evening filled with dancing, a fabulous silent auction and the "Strike it Rich" raffle.  For more information or to register online click here.
