The La Canada Kiwanis and LCFEF will again combine forces for another fabulous wine and food event in Memorial Park on Sunday, September 14th. Several hundred local residents will enjoy fine wine and food from local restaurants and have the opportunity to bid on fabulous, rare and highly rated wine. Highlights from last year's live auction included a six-liter bottle of Silver Oak Cab signed by the proprietor, a bottle of 1961 Bordeaux and two "Dinner Trios" that contained three different wines for a dinner party, all rated 96 points or higher. Come join the fun at the 18th Annual Spring Gala on Saturday, March 8th 2008 again at the Langham Hotel in Pasadena. Check back soon for more information.
On Thursday, October 2, the Foundation will host its annual Major Donor Reception to recognize our most generous givers and announce the Spirit of Outstanding Services Award recipient. This year's event will be held at the home of Geoffrey and Kathleen Bywater and invitations will be mailed in late August, early September.
