33rd Annual LCFEF Spring Gala

La Cañada school families and community members gathered for a dazzling evening under the theme “Galactic” at the 33rd Annual La Cañada Flintridge Educational Foundation (LCFEF) Spring Gala on March 14, 2026. Held at the Taglyan Complex in Los Angeles, the event welcomed nearly 400 guests for a night of celebration and philanthropy benefiting LCUSD students and schools.

Guests mixed, mingled, shopped, dined, and danced alongside fellow community supporters while raising critical funds for local education programs. The evening featured a vibrant silent auction with hundreds of items, as well as an exciting live auction showcasing unique experiences and one-of-a-kind treasures.

During the evening, Ara Aslanian was honored with the prestigious Spirit of Outstanding Service Award, recognizing his extraordinary dedication and leadership in support of LCUSD. Jason and Laura Berns of The Berns Team received the Business Spirit of Outstanding Service Award for their many years of generous support and partnership with LCFEF. A special Legacy Award was also presented to Superintendent Wendy Sinette in recognition of her visionary leadership and unwavering commitment to the students, families, and schools of La Cañada.

The annual gala remains one of LCFEF’s most important fundraising events, bringing the community together to support programs that enrich and enhance education across the district.
